Film Threat Review

"What I like about Missed Conceptions is that it asks all the right questions in its attempt to speak on behalf of the donor-conceived."  —Alan NG

Quotes

"Omg we just watched Missed Conceptions. That was incredible..soooo good! I was glued honestly. 👏

During the documentary I kept thinking how talented she is and all her talents came from Michael whom she never met or even knew existed for most of her life. Then all the others. Fascinating!"

Karen Surenko, Supporter

"The film has left me with a renewed desire to reach out to my half siblings, validation of my feelings of disconnect from the siblings I was raised with and the emotional roller coaster that I’ve been on for the past two years since my NPE discovery.  Yet, it also left me with an overwhelming sadness and fear that at my age, 73, my time is limited and my story may never have an ending. Thank you Donna, your family and friends and all who share their journeys to provide others the knowledge, support

and courage to navigate theirs."

Vicky, NPE (Not Parent Expected)

"Through ‘Missed Conceptions,’ we aim to spark conversations about the fundamental right to know one’s genetic heritage and the complexities surrounding donor conception. It’s a story of love, loss and ultimately the search for belonging.”

FOX21, Colorado Springs

"Wow, it was riveting!! My heart was full..and yet hurting, all in a matter of an hour an a half. A beautiful documentary, and a great achievement!" 🙏🏼💕

Amber, Donor Conceived Person

"Wow wow wow Donna, this is so powerful, far beyond what I expected. Such an important story, both personally, institutionally, genetically and cosmically. Beautifully produced. On a personal note, it was wonderful to visit with Michael again after all these years. And I love the portrait you created. Thank you."

David Dolberg, Cast Member

"Donna’s story is a testament to the power of perseverance and the importance of knowing one’s roots. Her journey of self-discovery not only brought her closer to her father but is also providing her with a platform to advocate for others in similar situations, ensuring that their voices are heard, and their stories are told."

Jackie Schatell, Suburban Essex Magazine

"It was so wonderful. It made me cry out of happiness for her."

Jamie, "Rotten Tomatoes" Review

"I can not tell you how much this has touched me. This information is so important to get out there and you have done such a beautiful job talking about and showing the important parts."

Jenny, Donor Conceived Person

"Your film is full with heart. Your quest has touched me as I am sure it touches anyone who watches the film."

Udy, Film Producer

"This film tugged at all my emotions around being an NPE. I plan to send to my new bio family to watch."
